The low-floor A/c Volvo buses operated by the Kerala State Road Transport Corporatation (KSRTC) is an economical and comfortable option for traveling in the city of Cochin. These saffron coloured buses are easily recognizable on the road, and connects almost all the main destinations in the city, including regular trips between the Cochin International Airport and Fort Cochin. Traveling in these A/c busses is a good choice. The seats are quite comfortable and the air conditioning will save you from the dust and heat. The staff is also extremely polite.

From Airport

The A/c Low-floor buses conduct regular trips connecting the Airport and Fort Cochin. These buses are parked very near to the arrival lounge of the Domestic Terminal of the Cochin International Airport, and can be boarded as soon as you exit the terminal. These buses reach Fort Kochi through two routes. One is through the highway, passing through Vyttilla, Kundanoor, Thopumpady. The second route is through the city, passing through M.G. From Railway Station

The two railway stations in Cochin, 'Ernakulam Junction' & 'Ernakulam Town' are a little off the bus route. You need to either walk or take an auto rickshaw to reach the bus stop. If you are taking an auto, ask them to drop you at the bus stop towards Fort Cochin. The frequency of the low-floor A/c buses are comparatively less when compared to the trips from the Airport. However, you can look for the orange coloured A/c bus plying upto Fort Cochin.
